Rangy Safety that is at his best playing in the deep areas of the field, where he shows very good mental processing and vision back to the QB to patrol the third level of the defense against the pass and play downhill against the run. Displays good timing in breaking up the catch point to cause disruption for the receiver, playing through the hands and making receptions very difficult. Good foot speed and acceleration both driving downhill and recovering in the deep areas. Plays with very good physical toughness as a tackler, arriving with good power on contact and delivering strong tackles when he squares up the ball carrier. 

Skowron displays impressive football instincts that make him a great fit in the deep areas of the field. Right now he is at his best playing in 2 high shells, but with continued development of learning the game and continued development of his mental processing he displays all of the requisite traits to play effectively in 1 high alignments as well.
