CAREER: In his 5-year collegiate career (4 years at USC and 1 year at UCLA), Ford has recorded 62 receptions for 873 yards (14.0 avg) with 6 TDs in his career while appearing in 36 games with 3 starts.

2024: Ford who played at USC from 2019-22, came back home to Troy for his final year of eligibility after a quick stint across town at UCLA during the 2023 season. He will compete for playing time at wide receiver as a redshirt senior.

UCLA: As a redshirt senior in 2023, Ford recorded 22 receptions for 236 yards (10.7 avg.) and 1 TD with a long of 37 yards while appearing in 12 games with 3 starts for the Bruins.

USC: As a redshirt junior in 2022, Ford tallied 20 receptions for 365 yards (18.3 avg.) and 2 TDs while appearing in 12 games. He recorded 1 catch for 20 yards against Rice and 1 reception for 7 yards versus Arizona State. He had a season-high 6 catches in win at Arizona for 114 yards, his first career 100-yard game, and recorded 1 TD. He notched 1 catch for 16 yards versus California and collected 3 receptions for 73 yards (24.3 avg.) against Colorado. He recorded 3 catches for 73 yards (24.3) and 1 TD versus UCLA and had 1 catch for 5 yards against Notre Dame. He tallied 2 receptions for 38 yards (19.0 avg.) against Utah and 2 catches for 19 yards (9.5 avg.) against Tulane.

Ford returned healthy as a redshirt sophomore in 2021 and saw action at wide receiver in 8 games (Stanford, Washington State, Notre Dame, Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, BYU, California).  Overall in 2021, he had 19 receptions for 252 yards (13.3 avg) with 2 TDs, with a catch in every game he played.  He missed 3 games (Oregon State, Colorado, Utah) with a knee sprain.  He was a 2021 Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year semifinalist.  He was limited in 2021 spring practice while recuperating from a 2020 knee injury.

He had 3 catches for 35 yards against Stanford, a 36-yard TD catch at Washington State, a 13-yard catch at Notre Dame, 2 grabs for 20 yards against Arizona, 2 receptions for 24 yards at Arizona State, 3 catches for 29 yards versus UCLA, 2 catches for 24 yards against BYU and 5 receptions for 71 yards with a 45-yard TD at California.

Ford was expected to compete for playing time at wide receiver as a redshirt freshman in 2020, but he suffered torn knee ligaments in the summer of 2020 and missed the 2020 season.

Ford, who was slowed for the first part of the 2019 season while recovering from a high school knee injury (he did not suit up for the Fresno State, Stanford and BYU games), saw action in 4 late-season games (Colorado, Oregon, Arizona State, Iowa) as a first-year freshman wide receiver and was able to redshirt.  Overall in 2019, he had a 20-yard TD catch (against Oregon).

HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2018 PrepStar Dream Team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and Orange County Register Fab 15 First Team as a senior wide receiver at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High.  He had 29 catches for 456 yards (15.7 avg) with 7 TDs in 2018 before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

As a junior in 2017, he made the MaxPreps Junior All-American Second Team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors First Team, All-CIF Division 1, Orange County Register All-Orange County First Team and All-Trinity League First Team as he had 91 catches for 1,468 yards (16.1 avg) with 13 TDs.

He spent his first 2 years at Servite High in Anaheim (Calif.).  As a 2016 sophomore, he had 52 catches for 950 yards (18.3 avg).

PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications from USC in the spring of 2023. He is now pursuing a certificate in Gerontology.
