As a redshirt sophomore in 2021, earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors from the league's coaches as well as Cal's Bob Tessier Award for the team's Most Improved Lineman on the offensive side of the ball where he started 11 of 12 possible games all at left guard… Became the first Cal player to win Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week honors since its' inception in 2019 for his performance in Cal's 41-11 win over Stanford in the 124th Big Game

Missed his 2018 senior campaign due to injury when his squad posted a 13-2 overall record and won the Southern Section Division 12 title before falling in the SoCal Regional finals
