In high school: Team captain… Pennsylvania Football Writers First Team All-State offensive lineman… All-Eastern PA first team… Coach’s Select All-State first team offensive tackle… three-year varsity starter… also lettered and served as team captain in basketball… four-year distinguished honor roll student… member of Math, Science, English and Social Studies National Honor Societies.
