Honorable mention All-Conference USA performer at linebacker … appeared in 12 games and made 11 starts at inside linebacker … ranked second on the team with 63 total tackles … posted 28 solo stops, one sack, two quarterback hurries, an interception and a pass breakup … logged a season-high nine tackles in the 27-17 win over Southern Miss (Nov. 13) … made eight stops, picked off a pass and pressured the QB in the 34-31 home victory against UAB (Nov. 20) … had eight tackles and a half-sack versus San Diego State in the Frisco Bowl (Dec. 21) … recorded six stops and a half-sack in the 45-16 road triumph over Louisiana Tech (Oct. 23) … had six tackles and a QB hurry in the 24-17 win against UNLV (Oct. 2) … also had six stops against North Texas (Nov. 27) … posted five tackles in each of the first two contests.

Conference USA All-Freshman Team selection … played in 11 games and made nine starts at inside linebacker … registered 72 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, four quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, a pair of fumble recoveries and a pass breakup during his true freshman campaign … named Athlon Sports Defensive Freshman of the Week and C-USA Defensive Player of the Week after recording a UTSA-record 19 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pair of hurries in the 37-35 victory over Middle Tennessee … posted nine stops, including a sack for a 12-yard loss, and forced a fumble in the 23-20 road win over Southern Miss (Nov. 21) … also had nine tackles against Army (Oct. 17) … turned in seven tackles, including 1.5 TFL, and deflected a pass in the 27-26 victory against Louisiana Tech (Oct. 24) … had seven stops and a QB hurry in the 52-21 rout of UTEP (Nov. 14) … recovered a fumble in the 24-10 win over SFA (Sept. 19) … posted five tackles and forced and recovered a fumble at UAB (Oct. 3).
