Son of mother Colleen Hartman Rambusch, who worked for OSU athletics in radio and TV during the Bob Simmons and Eddie Sutton eras; father Mike Cassity, who served as co-defensive coordinator at OSU during a long college coaching career and played football and wrestled at Kentucky; and stepfather Bit Rambusch, who played football and baseball for Army at the United States Military Academy ... Comes from a family of college football coaches and athletes ... Brother, Skyler Cassity, is the defensive coordinator for Abilene Christian football; brother, Hunter Cassity, played safety for Samford football; and stepbrother, Blake Rambusch, is an infielder for Auburn baseball ... Also has an older sister Brooke Cassity and stepbrothers Bit and Ryan Rambusch ... An avid fisherman and hunter ...
