Rex Waterman

03/07/24 Versatile OL prospect that has experience playing both OT and OG already in his HS career. Displays impressive athletic ability that allows him to play very effectively in space, particularly when climbing to the second level or when pulling to the perimeter of the formation. Displays very good foot quickness and acceleration with nice flexability and COD to wrap up beyond the LOS when he pulls. As a Gap run blocker, displays good initial hand placement and strength to latch on defenders, where he displays good leg drive and lower body strength to stalemate/generate movement. 

Good in pass protection both from IOL and OT, where he shows very good pad level through his pass sets that keep him in position to adjust to the defender's rush path. Above average short area redirect to intersect defenders as the change direction. Utilizes his hand placement and strength well to latch on and finish defenders. 

Waterman is an ascending OL talent that shows incredible potential. With continued physical development and playing experience, he displays the potential to develop into a P5 OL prospect.
