Gio Richardson

Dynamic speed athlete that has the ability to score from anywhere on the field. Elite top end vertical speed that he utilizes well to take the top off defenses, showing very good ball tracking and concentration to the catch point to bring in passes over the shoulder. Good route runner that is at his best on smooth routes/breaks that are called to stretch the field vertically or horizontally. Shows good potential on high COD routes with room to grow and become more technical. 

Richardson's best traits are his speed and vision as a ball carrier, which is why he is a dynamic special teams contributor. He has the ability to return any kick for a touchdown, where his speed and top tier path finding ability make him incredibly effective. He displays very good overall athletic ability, showing very good COD and acceleration once he makes his cut. Given his speed and ability as a returner, Richardson has the potential to contribute to his college program immediately on special teams and with continued development and coaching a dynamic college receiver.
