A unanimous first-team all-MIAA honoree at wide receiver and honorable mention all-MIAA accolades as a return specialist … ranked ninth in the nation and second in the MIAA in all-purpose yards, averaging 146.5 yards per game … also ranked 16th in total receiving yards with 983 and 18th in receiving yards per game with 87.4 in the national rankings … his 18.8 yards per reception was second in the MIAA and 23rd nationally … finished third in the MIAA in receiving touchdowns with 11 … as a kick returner, he was third in the MIAA in average yards per return at 24.1 on 16 attempts … led the Ichabods in scoring with 66 points, finishing 10th in the MIAA overall.

Background

In one season at Hutchinson Community College, he finished the year ranked No. 2 in the nation with a 27.1-yard average on kickoff returns and No. 2 with a 16.2-yard average on punt returns … he returned one kickoff and two punts for touchdowns, finishing the season with 1,332 all-purpose yards en route to first-team NJCAA Division I All-American honors as a return specialist and first-team All-KJCCC honors on special teams … earned two NJCAA National Player of the Week honors and three KJCCC Player of the Week awards.

At Highland Park, he was named the 2023 Topeka Shawnee County Male Athlete of the Year and was a four-sport athlete, earning first-team All-Shawnee County recognition in football, basketball, and track … in 2022, he led Highland Park in rushing with 1,964 yards and 27 touchdowns, and caught 40 passes for 1,079 yards and 15 touchdowns.

In basketball, he helped Highland Park to a 24–1 record and a third-place finish in the Class 5A state tournament, averaging 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals per game.

On the track, he scored 33 points at the Class 5A state track and field championships, winning a pair of state titles and adding second- and fourth-place finishes: 100m (10.73 seconds – 1st), long jump (23'4.5" – 1st), triple jump (46'5.75" – 2nd), and 200m (22.49 seconds – 4th).
