High School… named one of five finalists for South Carolina’s Mr. Football Award… an all-state selection regardless of class by the South Carolina Football Coaches Association… caught 68 passes for 976 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior for the Bearcats… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Randy Birch… caught 46 passes for 800 yards and nine TD as a junior in 2023 while helping the Bearcats to the state playoffs… also got some snaps at cornerback on defense… was an All-Herald second-team selection… also ran track… as a junior, placed third at the South Carolina 5A state meet in the 100-meter dash with a 10.62 effort after winning the 5A Upper State title with a 10.55 clocking… placed fifth as a sophomore in the South Carolina 5A 100-meter finals with a 10.90 and seventh in the 200-meter championship with a 22.00.
