Very good athletic ability for the position, where he displays very good foot quickness, lateral movement ability, and change of direction that make him an effective blocker on the move. His very good play strength allow him to wash out interior defenders with relative ease. 

Plays with an impressive level of physical and competitive toughness both as a run blocker and pass protector. Stover displays a good base in pass protection with a very good feel for using his hands to establish the leverage advantage. His very good lower body strength and feel for playing with leverage allows him to anchor very effectively in pass protection. Top tier IOL prospect.
