Dynamic athlete that has played RB, CB, WR, and Returner in his HS career. Melvin is a game-changing player on Special Teams as a returner, where he displays top-tier ball carrier vision, speed, burst, and acceleration that allow him to chew up huge chunks of yards on returns. Displays natural catching ability as a returner, fielding punts with ease. 

On offense, Melvin is an offensive weapon that shows versatility to align nearly anywhere in the formation. His combination of ball carrier vision and athletic ability combined with very good patience to allow blocking to develop make him incredibly difficult for defenders to get to the ground early in the rep. His top-tier foot speed make him a home-run threat whenever he touches the ball. 

Displays impressive physical and competitive toughness at CB, where he shows that he is a willing tackler and is not afraid to arrive with legitmate force and power. His athletic traits allow him to fly around the defense from second and third level alignments and arrive at the ball carrier very quickly.
