Marcel Jones

Dual-Threat QB that displays very good athletic ability and good arm strength to all three levels of the field. Very good athlete with very good top end speed, change of direction, acceleration, and burst that give him the ability to score from anywhere on the field as a ball carrier. Good play extension from inside the pocket as pressure comes in around him that allows him to either impact the game as a ball carrier or get outside the pocket to allow his receivers to adjust their routes and break free. Displays good arm strength and accuracy on the move to either side of the offensive formation.

As a passer, Jones throws with good anticipation and touch to all three levels with a nice feel for dropping in passes over the shoulder of his intended targets. Plays with impressive ball placement both when stationary in the pocket and on the move outside the pocket. With continued development as a passer Jones continues to show incredible potential at the QB position.
