Displays top-tier foot speed, burst, and acceleration that allow him to erase pursuit angles and work into the second and third levels of the defense with incredible quickness. Displays very good foot quickness, lateral agility, and change of direction both as a route runner and ball carrier. Displays good hands and hand strength with natural pass catching ability. 

Smith is at his best working from the Slot or inserted alignments that give him the opportunity for a two way go into his route or allow him to be utilized on Jet Sweep/Motion concepts. He displays good path finding ability and a jittery run style that make him difficult for defenders to square up and tackle in tight spaces.
