Long TE that displays impressive vertical speed that makes him a threat to stretch the defense and attack the seam. Shows incredible upside as an all-around TE due to his willingness to block near the interior of the formation, displaying good hand placement and above average grip strength to latch and sustain.

As a receiver, Washington displays all the tools to play F/Slot early in his college career. His speed combined with his very good overall AA allow him to stretch the seam as well as spread the field laterally when running crossing routes. Displays very good ball tracking and concentration to bring in receptions over his shoulder in the deep areas of the field. 

Washington is a Texas commit that has the athletic ability to contribute early as an F/Slot TE with the upside as a blocker to potentially develop into a true Y TE with time spent in a college weight training program.
