Charlie Smith

A QB prospect who shows good footwork in the pocket providing a good base and good arm strength. Good pocket presence as he can move away from pressure, while maintaining eye discipline downfield. Good motion with a quick release as the ball comes out clean with good zip. Throws with good anticipation and accuracy. Ball placement allows for YAC on throws in all areas of the field. Also, shows good ability to throw off-platform with a flick of the wrist and maintains the arm strength to push the ball to the intermediate to deep routes. Solid running ability as he can move the chains, but isn't going to be a chunk runner. Overall, his play style is that of a competitive QB that takes what is given play to play and work within the offensive system, but can also create off-script when needed.
