Weston Polk

Box Safety/OLB hybrid that plays with an aggressive play style that pairs well with his very good mental processing and keeps him around the ball. Decisive once he makes his read, closing downhill with very good foot quickness and angle processing to intersect the path of the ball carrier. Arrives with good power as a tackler, displaying good play strength and tackling technique to bring down ball carriers by himself. 

Polk displays the athletic ability to play well in coverage both in Zone and matched up in Man against TEs and bigger WRs. While his aggressive play style and physical toughness may result in an eventual move to LB, his best fit right now is as a Box Safety that can also be utilized in coverage when needed. Polk plays with very good processing speeds and has the athletic ability to react/adjust if he does get fooled, which makes him a great fit for Safety at the next level. His combination of toughness and athletic ability along with his impressive ability to process the game make him safe bet to contribute early in his college career on Special Teams.
