Coached by Derek Badell at Mayfair High School in Lakewood, Calif. where he also competed on basketball and track teams.
Listed as a three-star recruit by 247Sports.
Was 88th-highest ranked recruit in California and 66th overall at the "athlete" position.
During senior season, helped guide the Monsoons to 9-1 overall record and a spot in the first round of the 2021 CIF Southern Section Football Playoff Brackets in Division 6.
As a senior, compiled 1,598 rushing yards on 199 carries, scored 22 touchdowns with 492 receiving yards, 20 receptions, and six receiving touchdowns.
Against Anthony High School during his final season, he scored four touchdowns.

Coach Aaron Best on Adimora: "We're in a position of high-want at running back, so we set our sights on a couple early on that we were very, very excited about and Nick was one of them. Nick smiled from ear-to-ear when he got on campus, and he is a special talent. He has three-down potential in terms of catching the ball in the backfield and protecting, but he can run the ball and is natural in his movements. He has good bloodlines as far as his brother playing at the FBS level and we're excited about getting Nick onboard in our multi-dimensional offense with the running back position. We ask running backs to do a lot of things, and we think Nick is the next good one in line."
