Elite athlete for the position, displaying very good COD, foot quickness, and agility to maneuver in the pocket and extend plays. Very good arm talent that generates every good spin, creating easy velocity. Shows very good accuracy to all areas of the field, displaying very good feel for using both touch and velocity throws. Very good arm strength, but would like to have more exposure on drive throws from the opposite hash. Throws very well on the move to both sides of the field, maintaining his spin and velocity. 

Ficklin is a Dual-Threat QB that displays the combination of athletic ability and arm talent to be a scoring threat from anywhere on the field. As a passer, he shows an impressive field for manipulating his arm slot to throw around defenders while also maintaining his accuracy. As a ball carrier, his top tier foot quickness and top end speed combined with his very good contact balance do not make him an easy player to take down, requiring legitimate tackling technique and power in order to bring him down on first contact.
