Enjoyed a breakout freshman year … Finalist for the Stats Perform FCS Jerry Rice Award, which honors the FCS Freshman of the Year … Third in FCS with 152.5 all-purpose yards per game and eighth with 1,525 all-purpose yards (562 receiving/109 punt returns/854 KO returns) … Led FCS with 854 yards on kickoff returns and second with 33 kickoff returns … Ranked second in the Southland Conference in kickoff returns with a 25.9-yard average and in punt returns with a 9.9-yard average … Only Southland player to return both a kickoff and punt return for a touchdown …Had a 44-yard punt return for a touchdown at New Mexico and an 89-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Nicholls … Had at least one reception in each of the 10 games he played in 2021 and in all 14 games of his career at HBU … Had five games with at least six receptions, highlighted by a career-best 16 vs. Incarnate Word … Topped 100 yards in back-to-back games vs. Incarnate Word (103) and Northwestern State (113 on nine receptions).

Three-year letterman at Klein High School for coach Shane Hallmark and also lettered all four years in track, two years in basketball, and baseball… Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Hot 300 District 15-6A MVP as a junior with 56 catches for 950 yards, 10 touchdowns, four interceptions, and two kick return touchdowns…was the district’s Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore with 27 receptions for 440 yards and three touchdowns
