2022: Played in 10 games and made eight starts at right tackle… Helped the Governors offense rack up 609 yards of total offense – the ninth-best single-game mark in program history – and score 63 points – the sixth-best single-game total in APSU history – against Presbyterian (Sept. 3)… Helped the Govs throw for 383 yards and five touchdowns against Mississippi Valley State (Sept. 10) – the fourth and second-best single-game totals in program history… Blocked for an offense that recorded 4,658 yards of total offense and scored 347 points during the 2022 season – the second and third-best season totals in Austin Peay history… Also helped the Govs average 423.5 yards of total offense per game – the best single-season mark in program history… The Govs posted the sixth-most rushing touchdowns (20) and fourth-most passing touchdowns (22) in a season in program history… Helped the offense pass for 2,580 yards – the fourth-best single-season in APSU history – and rush for 2,082 yards, it was the first time in program history the Govs have passed and rushed for 2,000-plus yards in the same season.

2021: Played in two games during the 2021 season… Made collegiate debut against Murray State (Oct. 23).

High School: An offensive guard at Escambia High School, prepped for head coach Mike Bennett… Was named to the first-team offense of the 2019 Florida Class 6A All-State Football Team by FloridaHSFotball.com… Listed by MaxPreps.com as one of the Top 100 Under the Radar high school football players for the 2020 season… A two-time Pensacola All-Area selection by the Pensacola News Journal, he helped lead Escambia to back-to-back undefeated regular seasons in 2019 and 2020… Also played center for the Escambia basketball team.

Personal: Frederick Brennan Smith is the son of Wendy Bonal-Smith… Birthday is Jan. 23… Has a sister, Aspen… Mother, Wendy, played for the Pensacola Power of the National Women’s Football Association… A marketing major.
