HIGH SCHOOL
Earned three letters at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas … Helped the Golden Bears to a 29-6 (.829) record over his three seasons, including a 21-1 (.955) mark in league play with three conference titles … Is a two-time first-team all-district pick … According to MaxPreps, has rushed for 2,932 yards and 35 touchdowns on 272 attempts (10.8 avg.) for his career with 11 games with at least 100 yards … Also has added 20 catches for 145 yards (7.3 avg.) with three touchdowns … In a 9-2 season so far in 2020 (which included three forfeits because of COVID-19 issues with other teams), has rushed 82 times for 762 yards (9.3 avg.) with eight touchdowns, while adding 10 catches for 65 yards (6.5 avg.) and another score … Ran for 1,291 yards last year for 14 touchdowns on 116 attempts (11.1 avg.) with two more receiving touchdowns as SOCHS went 9-3 … In 2018, led the Golden Bears to a 11-1 record and perfect 7-0 mark in league play, rushing 74 times for 876 yards (11.8 avg.) and 13 touchdowns … Has been on the honor roll at SOCHS … Also competes on the school’s track and field team, excelling in the 100, 200 and 400, and sprint relays … A consensus three-star recruit by Rivals, 247sports and ESPN … Received a scout grade of 83 by 247sports and 73 from ESPN.
