UNIVERSITY HS/TRU PREP ACADEMY: Cannon played his senior season with TRU Prep Academy, which absorbed players from his NSU University High School (program was idle due to COVID-19)...earned first-team Class 2A all-state selection...made 12-of-13 field goals his senior year at Tru Prep...made 16 of 20 field goal attempts and 137 of 149 PAT in his career at University HS, scoring 176 points…in his junior campaign, he went 10-of-13 on field goals and 35-of-37 on PAT, connecting on a long field goal of 40 yards…as a sophomore earned first team all-state honors after going 6-of-7 on field goals and 68-of-72 on PAT with a career-best 43-yard field goal...recruited by Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard and Nebraska.

PERSONAL: Born December 9, 2002...the son of Ann and Marc Cannon...a preferred walk-on who signed with the Bulls in February of 2021…rated a four-star recruit by Chris Sailer Kicking.
