• Four-star recruit by 247 Sports, ESPN and Rivals
• Won Joe Thomas Award as the outstanding senior offensive lineman in Wisconsin
• First-team all-state by Associated Press and WFCA as a senior
• Named to Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Region team as a junior and senior
• Played basketball at Grafton, helped his team finish fourth in the North Shore League with a record of 14-9; averaged 10 points per game over the last two seasons
• Started 11 games as sophomore at left tackle earning second-team all-league in the North Shore Conference
