Before Rhode Island

Erby was his team's leading receiver, handled kicking and punting duties, and played quarterback
Also starred on the school's soccer and golf teams, all while being in the top-10 academically in his class
As a junior, he averaged 22.5 yards per catch and caught six touchdown passes
Playing quarterback as a senior, he ran for 906 yards and 16 touchdowns while passing for 1,933 yards and 21 touchdowns
