Prior to Rutgers: Coached by Patrick Nixon at Mergenthaler Vo-Tech … played defensive end and tackle for the Mustangs … helped Mergenthaler Vocational to an 11-1 record and an appearance in the 3A Football state semifinals as a senior in 2019 … member of a defense that allowed just 6.1 points per game during final scholastic season … produced 69 tackles with 22 tackles-for-loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 2019 … 2019 First Team All-Metro by The Baltimore Sun … First Team All-MPSSAA as voted by the coaches … also played at New Era Academy in Baltimore during scholastic career.
